Fried Rice
Indian cuisine has been influenced by many overseas cuisines, which have adapted to the local taste buds. The fried rice recipe is one such adapted version from the Asian cuisine transformed to a popular street food recipes. A popular and flavoured rice recipe made with cooked rice, finely chopped veggies and seasoning ingredients. It is a staple food in many south-east Asian countries, but in India, it is served as street food from Indo-Chinese cuisine. It tastes great when served with manchurian gravy recipes or dal recipes.
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked brown rice
1/2 tablespoons of oil and finely chopped green chilies
1/4 cup sliced capsicum
3/4 cup thinly sliced carrot
1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
3/4 cup beans and sprouts.
Method:
In a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil and add the green chilies, capsicum, and spring onion whites. Sauté for one to two minutes. Add the celery, carrot, bean sprouts, and French beans. Stir thoroughly and cook for one to two minutes on a high flame. Add salt, soy sauce, spring onions, and the cooked brown rice. Stir thoroughly in a medium flame for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
