Our Story: A Journey Toward Sustainability
I’m Nitin Sharma, and my journey toward sustainability and a deep connection with nature began long before I founded Trugro Exporters. Growing up, I was always passionate about the environment, often concerned about the destructive patterns modern society follows—extracting fossil fuels, cutting down forests, generating mountains of waste, polluting oceans, and contributing to climate change. As I pursued a career in IT, this concern grew, especially seeing how these practices continued unchecked, damaging the planet in ways that were out of harmony with nature.
I started small—planting trees in my neighborhood, participating in cleanliness campaigns, and contributing to environmental causes. Over the years, I’ve personally planted thousands of trees, both in India and abroad, wherever I’ve lived and worked. But I knew this was only the beginning—these actions, though meaningful, weren’t enough. I felt a growing desire to do more, to make a bigger impact. That’s when I made a life-changing decision: I chose to leave my IT job and dedicate myself entirely to a business that would contribute to sustainable living. This business would not just avoid harming nature, but would actively work in harmony with it.
In January 2023, I founded Trugro Exporters with a vision to deliver organic, eco-friendly products to global markets. We started by exporting organic food, promoting healthier, nature-friendly agriculture practices. But our commitment to sustainability didn’t stop there. In September 2024, we expanded our mission, adding compostable solutions to our product line to combat the widespread use of plastics and replace them with biodegradable, eco-friendly alternatives.
This is just the beginning of our journey. At Trugro, we are driven by a single purpose: to innovate and deliver products that allow humanity to thrive without harming the planet.
